Sam Swan
Principal
Swan is a native of Brownwood. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in 1982 and a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M in 1985. He started at TxDOT as a summer employee in 1984. After graduation, Sam became an engineering assistant in the Brown County Resident Engineer’s Office. While in the Brownwood district, he held a variety of positions including Assistant Area Engineer, District Bridge and Pavement Engineer, District Maintenance Engineer and District Traffic Engineer.
